GT BRIEFING

About GT Briefing

Engineering-First Vehicle Analysis Platform

Our Mission

GT Briefing exists to cut through marketing hyperbole and subjective reviews by providing data-driven, engineering-focused analysis of enthusiast vehicles. We believe that numbers tell stories—about compromises made, engineering philosophies adopted, and experiences delivered.

Rather than relying on opinions, we analyze physics, geometry, and mechanical specifications to create behavioral fingerprints for each vehicle. This allows enthusiasts to compare cars on objective technical merit, discovering unexpected alternatives and understanding the engineering tradeoffs behind every design decision.

Methodology

GT Briefing generates behavioral fingerprints for enthusiast vehicles by analyzing engineering specifications and market cross-shopping data. Unlike subjective reviews, our Experience Metrics are derived from physical proxies:

Acceleration

Power-to-weight ratio scaled against benchmarks. Raw physics of thrust.

Formula: (HP / Weight) × 300

Rotation

Inverse weight scaled for agility. Lower weight = higher rotation score.

Based on wheelbase/track ratio

Drama

RPM ceiling + cylinder count. Measures theatrical potential and mechanical symphony.

9000 RPM = 100 points

Response

Throttle immediacy. Natural aspiration scores higher than forced induction.

NA: 85 | Turbo: 70
